ROBINHOOD BROKERSKEEP THEM ALIVEThere is no second token to understand. $BROKER raises a Broker from the graveyard, holding it restores one that has degraded, and burning it brings a dead one back. The Exchange reads the chain's ETH/USD oracle, so a dollar is a dollar whatever ETH is doing.
There is no ordinary mint button. You don't mint a Broker, you raise one — burn $BROKER and it comes out of the graveyard at full health. From that moment it is yours to keep alive. The cost rises as the graveyard empties — the desk always quotes what the next one costs, and the contract charges exactly that.

The Brokers were never meant to live forever. They exist somewhere between life and death, waiting for someone to bring them back. Once resurrected, every Broker has a choice: stay protected, wander freely, or slowly fade away.
One question: will yours survive?
The picture is drawn by the contract from the Life State itself. A Broker that is dying does not get a badge saying so — it visibly fades. This is the same Broker, at every state it can be in.
A staked Broker reads Protected and holds whatever health it went in with. Nothing about the picture is stored anywhere — it is composed on chain, at the Life State the Broker has at the moment somebody looks.
The decay here is the contract's: 2% of full health a day while it is in your wallet, none at all while it is staked, and the picture is drawn by the same fade the chain applies. Restoring costs you nothing but requires you to have held the $BROKER for 24 hours.
A degraded Broker doesn't have to die. Restore it by buying and holding $BROKER. The tokens never leave your wallet — the contract only checks that they are there, and have been for 24 hours.
That waiting period is the whole trick. Without it a stranger could borrow the balance for one transaction and heal the entire collection for free.

A staked Broker cannot decay and cannot die. It is also not in your wallet, so it cannot be sold while it sits there. Take it out and the clock restarts exactly where it stopped — the Crypt neither charges you for the time nor gives any back.
Stake it, and keep it alive. Unstake it, and accept the risk.
DEAD
ALIVEIf you leave your Broker unattended long enough its Life State reaches zero and the Broker dies. But death doesn't mean the end. A dead Broker can be resurrected by burning $BROKER — the tokens are permanently destroyed and your Broker returns to life. Burn the token. Bring back the Broker. A corpse can still be traded, so somebody else can be the one who saves it.

Every death after the first costs 50,000 $BROKER more than the last, so a Broker that has been back many times is a Broker somebody paid dearly to keep.
A Broker can also be voluntarily burned by its owner. It is destroyed, and its place in the 7,000 is gone with it.
Nothing comes back. Everything paid into that Broker was already destroyed.

Every $BROKER paid in is destroyed on the spot — raising, resurrecting, all of it. Not sent to a dead address, not parked in a treasury: burned, so the token's total supply itself falls and anyone can check the number.
The press is fixed at deploy and there is no mint function on the token — not for the owner, not for anyone. Supply is a one-way street, and the more the system is used the less $BROKER there is.
The contract can escrow a share of each payment so a sacrifice returns something, but that share is set to zero: nothing is owed to anyone today. It is taken at payment time, so switching it on later could never create a claim on tokens already burned.
